AIW 9800 recorded TV sound issue

Hello all,

Have a problem with recorded TV sound. While watching TV, the sound is
fine. Recording TV, sound is fine. Trying to watch a recorded TV show, the
sound is all distorted. Have updated to CCC 5.13 but continue to have
distorted sound. Still using audio cable to connect to sound card. Remove
it?

Did you check the recording sound level, making sure it's not set to
maximum?

Somewhere around 5.4 the sound went digital. Set your sound and recording
with the wave setting.

Duh!! That was it. Wave recording was maxed out. Could have sworn I had
