After Reinstalling Windows I want to delete an account

I just reinstalled Windows XP Pro on my computer and
totally forgot to delete one of the user accounts that is
no longer used and takes up a lot of hard drive space.
Unfortunately, it is also protected so I am unable to
access it. I tried to logon to it and just deleting it
with no success. Any suggestions?

Can you boot up in safe mode (F8 whilst it's restarting) and use the
Administrator's account to do it?

Just attempted that with the same problem. "Access
Denied." I guess I may just have to do a full system
format and go that route...

I found the solution, which deals with taking over
ownership of the folder. Thought I would most it here in
case anyone ever needs it. Follow this link (you will
