After install.

About twenty minutes after I installed MS anti-spyware I
click on the shortcut and system is unable to find the exe.

This has happened everytime after a new install. I have
done this about ten times now.
When I uninstall from "add remove programs" I get a
message that some .dll's were not unregistered.
I have turned on the tea timer for spybot S&D and it tells
me that the startup .exe is being removed, but do not know
which program is removing it.

Any ideas?

Beau - it is possible that some active process is removing things that you
would rather not have removed.

I recommend 1) download Microsoft Antispyware, and save the installation
package somewhere handy like the desktop.
2) run MSCONFIG and set the checkbox for diagnostic mode startup, and
restart your system in that mode. If you use a software firewall,
disconnect from the Internet--the software firewall will likely be disabled
while in this boot mode.
3) install and run Microsoft antispyware in this diagnostic boot mode,
scanning until a full scan comes through clean.

Then restart in normal mode and see whether the behavior has changed.
