Aero Glass

Here's just a quick thing about Aero Glass. (Build 5384)
UAC took 2.6 seconds to appear with Aero Glass.
UAC took 0.8 seconds to appear with Vista Basic.

Also, with PowerPoint (any version as it did this with both PowerPoint 2002
and PowerPoint 2007 Beta 2) you will have problems copying and pasting
images. Copy and paste an image into powerpoint. Now, put a custom
animation on that image such as the fade effect. Now, copy and paste
another image into PowerPoint. I have been having problems when you copy
and paste more than one image with animation that you cannot see your object
you pasted, however, you can in the preview. When you move the image, it
will 'freeze' on the screen. However, I do not get this behavior when Aero
Glass is off. I am running PP with Aero Glass disabled using the
compatibility mode (disabling desktop composition) in order to compensate.

Glass problems are often related to specific video-drivers, and some of
the worst have been resolved since 5384.

That's what I figured, but just making sure. When UAC is opening and I move
my cursor, it jumps around the screen until the screen darks out.

Well, you still haven't indicated which build or video-drivers, so
there's not much to go on.

Yes, I did mention the build, but no, I didn't mention my video card. (Read
my original post again.) I'm using an Ati Radeon X1600 PRO and I get the
same behavior with either the MS built-in drivers or the Ati ones.
