Advance tab on printers greyed out

I am connected to a network printer but need to change my drivers to an older
version for one of my applications to print properly. I am in the
administrator group(if need be I can sign on as the administrator). When I go
to the advance tab on the printer property itis grey. How can I enable the
tab so I can change the drivers?

Sue,

If the printer is connected locally to a PC and then shared across the
network, the drivers need to be updated on the PC it is hooked up to. If
however the printer is on the network via a JetDirect or Some other method
of Print Sharing, then you will need to update the drivers on the local
PC. If you are in the Administrators group, I'm guessing the reason it is
greyed out is due to the fact it is shared from another PC, rather than
being on a Print Server.

Cheers,
