Hello i used to be an administrator on my computer and my daughter changed it
do i have to reformat to become the admin again or can i change it back??? I
now have a limited account

If you have access to another administrative account - you can change it
back using that. Usually the built-in "administrator" is hidden from view -
although there.

If Windows XP Professional, reboot and at the "Welcome Screen", press
CTRL+ALT+DEL twice to get the classic logon.

Username: administrator
Password (unless someone changed it/put one in) is likely blank (nothing, no
password.)

If Windows XP Home Edition, boot up in Safe Mode and logon as the above
user...

Reformatting does seem a bit extreme method of solving this problem.
Only a member of the administrators group can perform this task.
You ought to have a heart to heart talk with your daughter though.
