Hi,

I was having problems with a PC so I reloaded Windows. Before doing so I
created a PST file of my outlook database. After reloading Windows I then
reinstalled Outlook and imported my PST file. Everything seemed to import
correctly but the address book is no longer available. The contacts that are
in the contacts database do not appear in the address book. Is there
anything anyone can think of to fix this?

Thanks,

Doing an export was not the proper way to back-up your data but that is too
late now.

Don't import; use File-> Open-> Outlook Data File... instead. If you're not
seeing your contacts now then you haven't backed it up.

For instructions on how to back-up your Outlook data next time see;

Hi,

Thanks for your help. Just to clarify, I can read my contacts. They are
all there. The problem is that I cannot read anything in the address book.
When I click on Address book nothing appears. Any idea why that is?

Thanks,

Make sure you've properly configured the Outlook Address Book service in
your mail profile.
