Address book in Office 2007 empty after installation of Windows-7

Netram

After install again of MS Office 2007 on my computer, after I had installed
Windows-7, have I an empty (e-mail) address book.

THE .PST files have been transferred so that I have, however, all dates of
contacts, agenda and e-mail.

My contacts are, however, present under contacts but not in (e-mail) the
address book what your uses at making a e-mail.

At the properties of contacts an option is use contacts in the address book,
but this option is grey and is not possible aangevinkt becomes. I can new
address book also no at the accounts insert because the fields cannot be
filled in.

This problem find at Microsoft has been confessed, by means of link
mentioned below, but is not as yet solve in the manner such as described by
Microsoft.

Perhaps, but it's what the OP meant, but it's wrong and won't help. This
solution does not apply to Outlook 2007 because you can't remove and add the
Outlook Address Book Service.
OP must create a new profile from scratch, then migrate his data correctly
this time. Make sure you don't use Windows Easy Transfer since that's what
usually causes this problem.

Gordon, Your presented solution does not work also, the address book is not
available in e-mail

So you created a new mail profile?
You attached the old pst file to it?
Are your Contacts there in the Contacts folder?

N

Netram

Yes, i have created a new mail profile and i attached de PST file in it, and
in the new mail profile i have all my contacts, all my e-mail history, all my
shedule items but not my (mail)addresboek. Properties in Contacts / Address
Book to Outlook, "is this folder as email address book" is checked but the
book remains empty.

You'll have to provide precise details. We can't tell what you're doing
wrong without knowing what you're doing.
The solution works if you create a new profile correctly and migrate your
data to it correctly. You've missed something.

Dear Gordon and Russ Valentine,

I have for the second time a new profile created and it is succeeded,
apparently I did the first time something wrong like Russ said.

Thank you both very much for your help.

Kind regards from Netran from the Netherlands.

Glad it worked. It's a shame Microsoft won't fix the bug that invalidates
their own solution to this common problem. They didn't fix it in Outlook
2010 either. We've told them about it many times.
