address bar

i have IE 6 and everytime i try to clear the address bar it never seems to
work. it attempts to autocomplete my addresses when begin to type. i have
tried clearing it using the clearhistory button in the general tab of
internet options. i need to find out how to clear it properly.

Hi there,

Check your registry under HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Internet
Explorer\TypedURLs and delete everything in the right pane (except
"default").
