Adding scanner to the Send To

How do I accomplish this in windows XP Pro?

First, you nee to show hidden files.
Show Hidden Program or System Files

then create a shortcut to the device/program and put it in C:\Documents and
Settings\<username>\SendTo

Just what do you SEND to a scanner? I always thought that
scanners sent things to the computer (software) for what
ever purpose.

A scanner is an "input" device and there is no reason to ever send anything
TO it.
