latter file is easily updated when running AdAware--but be careful about
the jump to 6.181, as a number of people have tried using an older .exe
with a newer ref. file, and that does not work.

Yep. If you want to run the most recent reference updates for AdAware
then you need to update to the newest version. Older versions will
not run the newest reference files.
