Ad hoc working, ping not working :/

I have Ad hoc connection between two computers, but don't have ping :/

Addresses of PC1 are
IP address: 192.168.0.5
Subnet mask: 255.255.255.0
Default Gateway: 192.168.0.1


Addresses of PC2 are:
IP address: 192.168.0.3
Subnet Mask: 255.255.255.0
Default Gateway: 192.168.0.1


What have I done wrong!? I can't ping computers...
How to make this thing working?? (any ideas?)

Firewalls on both computers are turned off.

More information would be helpful!

For a start:
1. By "ad-hoc" you mean wireless?
2. Did you use the wireless configuration wizard?
3. Can you access one computer from the other?
4. Is any dialogue presented?
5. Have you tried to ping each computer by itself e.g.
ping localhost or ping 127.0.0.1?

Check your firewall settings.... They may not be passing ICMP packets.

I turned off firewalls, uninstalled - so there isn't any firewall...:/

Is everything OK with my IP setting??

What sholud I look for (any idea)?

Problem solved... I don't know how, I turned on my computer and
everything works - I didn't change any settings... hm... :/ can't
understand what's happened but I'am glad that's ok thank you all
