Trying to use the Hardware Troubleshooter in the Help and Support Center of
Windows XP.

Keep getting "An ActiveX control on this page is not safe" message.

I have checked all Internet Explorer settings and they all seem to be set
properly to allow files on My Computer to run.

I have a Pentium 4 2.0 GHZ computer with Windows XP Pro and SP2 installed.

Any suggestions?

Before running the "Hardware Troubleshooter" *temporarily* relax the
Internet Zone settings.

Start, Run and type Inetcpl.cpl
Click the Security tab
In the Internet Zone, click the "Custom Level" button.
Set the option "Initialize and script ActiveX controls not marked as safe"
to Allow.

*Important note*
You must revert back the setting to "Disable" after you run the
troubleshooter.
