ActiveX controls

Whenever i go to certain web pages i get the following message...

"Your security settings do not allow Web sites to use ActiveX controls
installed on your computer. This page may not display properly."

I have tried to reset the internet security settings but it wont let me
go below medium. Is thereany way to override this??

I have set all settings to "enable" activeX controls and restarted my
computer but i still get the same message!!

Even when i try to play CD's, I have some tutorials on CD and it wont
let me view them!!

Can anyone please help me???

For the CD issue:

Open IE, click tools, click options, click on advanced, scroll down, tick
the option to enable active content on CD. If the pages you speak of are
local then you can opt to enable those there as well. Active content runs
with the same rights you have so it's insecure and not a great idea.
Consider, if you will, reversing the above directions when you're through
with what you're doing for your own sake.
