Activating XP

I have a question, I just formatted my computer and have to activate XP. The
computer is not online and I have called to do it over the phone and 3 times
waited over 20 minutes, after which I got tired of waiting. Is there a way
to activate XP without having to call Microsoft or having an internet
connection ? Thanks in advance for any help you can give me.

There are only two ways to activate XP:

1. via the internet 2. via the telephone

The "Activate Windows by phone" method is automated.
I just tried calling and was connected after the second ring.
In the U.S. call: 1-888-571-2048

If you had problems connecting, contact your telephone company.
