acrobat 6.0 reader

Everytime I open an acrobat file and close it, my IE6.0
locks up. I have to kill the session and reopen the IE.
I've removed Acrobat Reader 6.0 and reloaded it. I am
running Windows XP. Any assistance would be helpful.

Greetings

Instead of making Arobat download and then popup by itself, right click on
the link to the PDF file and choose "Save Target As". Download the file to
your PC then open it in Acrobat.

Just for the record, I personally experienced many bugs and instabilities
with Acrobat 6. Had to uninstall it and go swiftly back to 5. No problems
since.

Same here I will NEVER again upgrade from Acrobat 5. It does all I need it
