Acrobat reader doesn't quit

Keith Snyder

I'm viewing a lot of pdf documents. They cause Acrobat Reader 7.0 to launch.
But when I'm finished view the pdf's, Acrobat Reader remains active, and
eventually interferes with shutdown or hibernate.

I'm running Windows XP SP3.

Any ideas why Acrobat Reader 7 doesn't terminate?

I think you may want to uninstall 7.00 and instead use the latest version
9.0 from Adobe. After install you may want to remove the add-on
components Adobe Air and Adobe.Com. (Add/Remove Programs)

*Be sure to uncheck/untic the "Google Toolbar they try to slip onto
your PC.
