I have Windows XP Pro with SP2 installed and Acrobat Standard 6 and Reader 8.
The Titles of a PDF document as it appears in the "Description" pane of the
"Document properties" window of my Acrobat Standard, used to appear in
Windows Explorer.
It disappeared and don't know why. (Maybe when I installed Reader 8 in place
of 7?) Is it a value of the registry I would have to change?
Thanks for your help.

I had already tried to uninstall Reader 8, without success. Anyway, thanks
for letting me know Foxit reader. I changed my pdf doc's reader to Foxit.

I am still with my problem...Any other idea?

yeh,

acrobat reader 8 may still
be using valuable resources.

i would delete it's folder and
it's contents. (at least try
to delete as much as possible)

you may have to run msconfig
and disable any startups for it
and end any processes as well.

then go to microsoft.com and
download a freeware called
autoruns.

and manually scan around the tabs
of system information. if you find
anything related to acrobat 8, then check
the line item and double click the
filename to disable that key.

if by chance you remove anything
related to the acrobat standard, then
simply reinstall it after your clean up
of that bloat/spyware.

if it were my system I would run
a registry cleaner afterwards. but
some don't beleive in them and it
would be strickly "your choice".
