Accessing email from outlook

When I finally got WindowsXP loaded I can not access my
email account through Outlook.
Anyone have any ideas about how to fix it?
 
Are you talking about Outlook or Outlook Express?

What happens when you try? "Cannot access my e-mail" tells us nothing.
What symptoms, any error messages, does the application work at all, give us
the steps you are using and the point at which things stop working.
