Accessing e-mail

I'm a college student and I access some of my assignments
through a campus based e-mail system. Anyway, I used to
be able to access my e-mail from my home computer before
I installed XP. I would go to the campus website, click
on 'access e-mail', then it would ask me for my username,
password, and domain. Now, with XP, I only get asked my
name and password, but not my domain...and I can't seem
to access it this way. Any help or advice would be
greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Try entering your username as:
THE_DOMAIN_NAME\Username
or
(e-mail address removed)'sAnActiveDirectoryDomain

If your login screen shows the place for you to enter your name and
pasword (in other words, you're not just clicking your user picture),
there should be a button in the lower right-hand corner called
"Options". Click this button and it will give you a place to choose
whether to logon to a domain or locally.

This solution only works if his computer is part of a domain. A
workgroup install of XP doesn't allow the choice of local machine vs
domain logon; it only allows a "local" logon.

Sally needs to get hold of her campus domain administrator or IT staff
and find out what she needs to do.
