Accessing "Documents & Settings" from Hard Drive Backup

Hello,

I have a computer that has a virus on it and after a while showed me at the
startup "Stop C0000218 The registry cannot load Hive(file)" So I put the
Harddrive in another Computer cleaned up the viruses and tried to make a
backup of the drive. When I came to the Doccuments & Settings Folder it said
"access denied". Is there a way to access it for example that I can define
with wich Username and Password I want to open it like a Network Connection?

Any Help would be appreciated.
Thanks

The "owner" status supercedes "administrator" in permissions. In other
words, even though these are your files, XP regards them as belonging to
the old account. It is protecting them from unauthorized access (access
denied). You can regain access to these files by taking ownership of them:

The above assumes that the files are *not* protected by encryption.
