Access sub windows temporarily freezing

I've had this issue for years and figured it was just something that only I
had a problem with.
I starting to talk to some of my customers and the same thing is happening
to them.
Occasionally, in the query grid, I can't scroll down on the field list in
the table windows, or can't scroll left or right in the grid, can't resize
the table field list windows etc.
In the database window sometimes I can't expand the window, scroll around,
select an object etc.

The way to fix it is to just grab the window's Blue Bar and just move it
around a little bit and then all of the scrolling and selecting works.

It happens sporadically when developing, but is a real pain.

Anyone else experiencing this.

I have definitely seen it in A2K and pretty sure in Access 2003 as well.

I've noticed these sometimes, but then discover my cursor isn't in the right
place, and feel silly. Could the problem be that simple?

Hi John and Sirocco,
This sounds like the same thing I read in a post a while ago. Allen Browne
replied with something like the following: that the problem was something to
do with a temporary breakdown in the communication between Access and
Windows. I presume that it happens to everyone. Yes, I find it annoying when
it happens in query design view.

Well, let's see if anyone else replies with a solution. I'm sure it's not a
mouse being in the wrong place.

Thanks,

John
