Access is Denied

When I Try to execute an remote application(from a machine running Windows XP Professional) in anoyher machine running Windows XP Professional I receive the message "Access is Denied

Note :The user/password in both machines are the same

Thanks in advance.
 
use machinename\user:password
chec eventlog on the other machine for more details.
