Can you please tell me how the transparent popup in the bottom right-hand
corner appears on my email while at work. I use Outlook Professional at
work, and at home, non-pro. How can I get Outlook to do this?

There is only the single version of Outlook, not including the differing
year versions
Look in email options in whatever version of outlook you have, eg OutlookXp
(2002), outlook 2003 etc

Outlook 2003/2007 = Tools->Options->Email Options->Advanced Email
Options->Desktop Notification.
