Outlook 2007 out of office popup notification is missing

In Outlook Office 2007 the Out of Office notification is in the taskbar of
Outlook, at the right lower corner. In Outlook 2003, the out of office
notification pops up when one opens Outlook. Can the popup notification be
used in Outlook 2007 when some opens Outlook whiel the Out of Office is
turned on?
