2 computers all of a sudden show winsrv error, what is that

Last week suddenly 2 of our company Dell computers got the blue screen of
death, and both showed the same error message: stop C0000135 [Unable to
locate Component] This application has failed to start because winsrv was
not found. re-installing the application may fix this problem.. What can
that be. 2 computers within a week. Is it possibly a virus? We could not
boot at all. Safeboot did not do anything either. I looked on one of our
other computers, and this winsrv may be a dll file..........I appreciate any
help.............Peter
