1607 cannot access [network path] HELP!!!!

I have a laptop with a relatively small hard drive.
Because I needed more room temporarily, I transfered many
of the folders in the my documents folder to a network
drive. When I finished with my temporary work, I moved
the folders back. Now, most of my programs are messed
up. Many of them start to run, and then say "Error 1607:
cannot access [network path]. I try unistalling these
programs, and it gives me the same message. Things
worked when I was connected to the network drive, but now
I don't have access to the network drive, and all my
programs are still asking me for it. I searched the
registry for entries with this network path, but to no
avail. Can someone please help me! I'm desperate!

Try going into Safe Mode and do a System Restore to before you made the
changes. If that doesn't work, post back.
