Hello List,
I have a customer that is trying to use a 16-bit Dos
application in WinXP home edition. The software works
alright except for when you first start the software.
You get a message of "An Application has attempted to
directly access the hard disk, which cannot be
supported. This may cause the application to function
incorrectly. Choose 'Close' to terminate the
application." If you select Ignore the program works
perfectly. My question to you is there any way to get
rid of that message. The customer wants to start the
software early in the morning so it can update before
they open for business.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks for your time
