Who wants to DL the PL2005 ISO

A

Ash

That's what I found after I burnt a copy of the CD. Autostart
index.html page didn't work, readme.txt was gibberish...the program
folders were all there and probably the program are OK but ya never
know....

Thanks very much Jim,

I've killed the two suspect files and will md5 the others before
offering those for download.

Hi Susan,

if needed, we could also help distribute the CD. I do not know how big
is the ISO,- we could share about 500GBs of bandwidth (dedicated
server)- maybe that would be sufficient for many of the group?

Can you upload it to our server if I asked?
Cheers,

Hi Maxim,

Sorry to be so slow in replying - thanks to Ashlyn for responding to
your request.

I sent the Pricelessware CD web pages to Steven Burn. Steven downloaded
the program files and created the PL2005 CD and ISO.

Neither I nor the pricelessware.org web site have the ISO. (I have a
dial-up connection and the web site is too small.)

I can upload it to the server, or Maxim can download it from my emule
connection, then upload it to the server.

I believe Ashlyn is working on that. I only posted to let Maxim know I
had seen his post and couldn't help.

If possible, can you download the ISO from the server mentioned in my e-mail
to you and let me know if the results are the same?.

Steven I d/l from your server originally and got the same results
however my d/l is 573 megs and after checking the cd it appears
to be OK. So the mystery continues :))

Once I figured out how to open it (burn it properly to begin with) I have
had no problems, and no complaints from anyone downloading from me, either.

Bob I believe you are on the East coast.
If you want I can burn and snail mail you the cd or burn the ISO,
your choice. Let me know

I am in the torrent stream now and have gotten just over 11%. I'll let
you know if I can't get it all there. I'll leave that running all
night so others can share as well.

I also grabbed the first two days on the binary group, but two parts
were incomplete on the Roadrunner server.

I have seeded a copy of the .iso to bit torrent.

The link is on my homepage about half way down under "cool freeware".

This is my first try at seeding a .iso torrent so let me know if you have
problems getting it.

Thanks

Hi Steven,

I'm downloading it now, and when it completes, I will post back what
the md5 is like.

I have seen several torrents recently where they put the ISO, readme
and md5 files in a folder and seeded the folder. That way you have
everything needed to verify the download plus instructions on how to
use it without having to find multiple files.

I got all of it last night and WinISO opens it and lets me read files
without complaining. My torrent client shows more than twice as much
uploaded as downloaded, so hopefully I helped out a few others. But
upload has been at 0 bps for over and hour now, so it looks like I can
shut it down.

Thank you,

No it was not.
I have had problems getting this to work and have pulled the link for now.

Hi Steven,

No good. I downloaded the file from your server (it took 3 days, your
server is very bandwidth restrictive), and the md5 check came up with

Hi Wedgie,

You have to use HJSplit to verify the checksum. Are you doing that?

There's some info about verification here:

Hi!
My ISP don't carry binaries so I need to download the ISO from
somewhere. Could I get a mail?
The info is OK and I live in Uppsala.

I misundestood - thought you were ready to burn now.
Info emailed.

I got mine through the original bit-torrent seed I got here on Tuesday
evening. I did not try the other seeds I saw go by.

Now to burn copies for myself and my daughter.
