Speaking of deleting, how do you delete documents, such as, a letter I wrote
and an attachment from an email that I saved for a while but want to delete
now. from Micro Word.

You can save the attachment, or delete the message, but you can't delete an
attachment from a message in WM or WLM.

When you access Comcast email via Internet Explorer, that is known
among us techies as 'webmail'.

Sorry, I know of no easy way to move folders from webmail to
Windows Mail. One thing you can try: one folder at a time, move the
contents of that folder to the webmail Inbox. Then try to download
those messages to Windows Mail. If they arrive, you can create a
similar named folder in Windows Mail and move those messages
into it. Then go back to webmail and do the next folder the same way.

What I mean is Comcast internet explorer and I have an email address set up
there also.
PS I am a novice at this but this worked for me!

Gary VanderMolen said:
That depends on what you mean by the somewhat nebulous term
"internet email."

Downloading the application Steve Cochran developed worked great for me - had
an e-mail stuck in the outbox that would not be deleted. Fantastic job
Steve!! I highly recommend downloading the application - much easier than
messing around with the dos files.

I am having this very same problem as you Kayaker and BChat. Seems to be it
happening just in this month. Is there some kind of bug in Vista Mail
Premium.

Can Microsoft Staff please log into forum and acknowledge the messages of
this problem we are having of the very same kind.

We have a message stuck in our inbox that will not delete.

The message in body says
Windows Mail encountered an unexpected problem while displaying this
message. Check your computer for low memory or low disk space and try again.

So please Microsoft Staff read this message, as there is a couple of us
desperate to get rid of a stubborn message in our inboxes...

Thanks, Charmaine

Joe did the patch work.
I have a message in my inbox that will not delete

Where you get this patch from if it worked.

Thanks

Maureen, what you mean you were able to delete the message by sending it to
your internet email.

I have this message in my inbox and it will not delete and says I am out of
memory.

Please tell me how you did.

Thanks, Charmaine

Microsoft staff does not read this newsgroup.

Messages may be stuck in the Outbox when you use Windows Mail on a computer
that is running Windows Vista
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/941090
It also works on other folders.

Try reading answers to other people's questions. An answer to that problem
is posted about a dozen times a day.

I have a brand new Dell XPS M1710 and yesterday and today I have the exact
same message as you have stated below. I know that I haven't used any memory

"Can Microsoft Staff please log into forum..."
Do not expect it.
There are peer to peer support newsgroups and not normally monitored
by Microsoft.
There is no expectation or requirement that Microsoft employees read
or respond to any posts.
When Microsoft employees post here, they do so on their own time.
