why does MESSENGER (NOT MSN MESSENGER) showing up a
message of "Messenger his encountered a problem and needs
to close". Any solutions? I have downloaded Windows
messenger (new version on Windows XP home System) but it
still shows the message box and says there is a problem
with module RTCDLL.DLL.

Here is exactly what the Windows Messenger dialog box
says"

I have run spbot, ad-aware, and norton antivirus and all
is clean. this computr is running windows xp home with
4 users.

Help!!

I have a similiar problem , mine even dials the internet
by itself. I too have run spybot, ad-aware and Norton.
You might try some of the solutions mentioned below 11
Jul 10:03 am. (I just got the error message). I have
NEVER used Messenger and don't plan to. Still searching,
good luck ed
