The exact impression many have of you Justin. Every newsgroup has one
or more clowns. Here, you're it. No doubt about it. <snicker>

His convoluted statements cause him to have to defend himself. Then he
quickly reverts to name calling. Justin is one of those little men
driving a raised 4x4 truck three feet off the ground so he can feel like
a man. He'd never be able to say to someone's face what he types.
Hiding behind a keyboard is just so small...

and you can't backup your own mouth. Unless you would like to try again?

I'll tell you what! I'll take "fool" back once you post PROOF (quotes from
me) where I claim I will upgrade EVERY MACHINE in my business and where I
claim Vista as the "end all".

If you can't do that then you are the fool I claim you are.

said it is the following which many scholars suggest has roots in the
above bibical proberb.

"It is better to remain silent and be thought a fool, than to open
your mouth and remove all doubt".

Haven't seen Colin in a long time.

Replace every few years? XP has been out for 6 years. That's one of
the longest intervals between OS releases.

Xp runs so good for people I know they don't see a need to upgrade.
I think people are getting tired of having to replace
hardware/software/OS
every few years maybe. I know I am and Vista doesn't bring enough to
the plate
to make an upgrade worthwhile.

Having said that I do realize in another 2-3 years Vista may be truly
ready and maybe by
then Microsoft will realize it's overpriced.


So your saying, rather than develop new technologies, Microsoft's
main goal with new OS's should be to make sure it's backwards
compatible with all apps? What would be the point of releasing a new
OS then?

I really dont think that it is too much to ask that the majority of
progams that worked in XP should also work in Vista. When I upgraded
from
2000 to XP, the only programs that didnt work in both were the
Microsoft
toys that were designed specifically for XP. An operating system
should
be written to accommodate the customers needs. Otherwise it is a
useless
toy, and in the case of Vista, a broken toy.
