Open files, IE6, w2k

When I click on the link (intranet) to ppt file and choose Open option after
downloading that file I get message:

The path or file name for C:\Documents and Settings\%username%\Temporary
Internet Files\Content.IE5\CGQXAW0G\filename.ppt is invalid. Please check
that the path and file name are correct.

There is no such file in IE Cache. The file was deleted after downloading
and can't open. The problem appears in Windows 2000 (IE6+all fixes) and no
problem in Windows XP.

Any ideas?

Exactly. That's why there's an error message. <w>

Right-click on the file and either choose the program to open it explicitly
(e.g. Open with...) or fix the default association (e.g. use Choose Program...
or edit that extension's file type using Folder Options, etc.)
