The Jaguar Marketing System is the most powerful online marketing system
I''ve seen.
I would value your opinion.

e-mail messages I write and try to send, initiate the same error message as
"sweetwin" received..."One or more messages in your outbox do not...."
Clicking on the "hotshorturl" link brings up a Google screen headed by "Sorry
the page you requested was not found".
Is there any way I can find a solution to this problem?
I have one message in my outbox that has been there for 3 days. It won't be
sent nor deleted. It does have an incorrect file extension (.com instead of
..net).

I am getting the same thing, but it is happening with all messages I try to
send. Does somebody have an answer that is not about removing the account
and re-entering it, because that didn't work. Thanks.

I have checked with my ISP . They said it was a software problem .
My old computer has OutLook Express and works great .
I think Microsoft has some kinks to work out .
I will keep checking back incase someone figures this out .

Thanks

Search the newsgroup for a post that details how to delete
the MessageStore files.

Any error message when you try to send?
If so, copy it and post it here.

Gary, I couldn't find the post you're referring to, but since I deleted and
recreated my sprint email account in Windows Mail, I've been getting these
errors, too. Do you have the information handy on deleting MessageStore files?

Thanks, Todd

This method was recently posted by Mike Burgess.
Seems like an elegant way of deleting the MessageStore files:

Close Windows Mail
Click Start > Search > Advanced Search
Location = Everywhere
Place a check in "Include non-indexed, hidden, and system files"
Name = (type) WindowsMail.MSMessageStore

When completed, you should only see 2 instances
Highlight, right-click and select: Delete
Ok any prompts, close Search and restart WinMail.

I haven't tried this method myself, so I can't vouch for it.

This is about the state of things at the moment:

First thing is to remove McAfee or Norton AV and antispam from the computer
if they exist. You may need to visit their website to fully uninstall the
product. Then get something less invasive. There are a number of free
antivirus programs, but with any you have to disable email scanning. See
www.oehelp.com/OETips.aspx#3

You can also try compacting and repairing the database using my WMUtil
program (www.oehelp.com/WMUtil/).

After that, the only solution so far is to wipe out the database. So go to
Tools | Options | Advanced | Maintenance | Store Folder to find the message
store location. Then move everything under that Windows Mail directory to
another directory. Then restart WinMail and it will open fresh with nothing
in the database. You can then add your accounts and if they work correctly
then you can use File | Import | Messages and choose WinMail format and
point to the directory to which you moved the files.

I am having the same problem. Emails that have invalid account specified. I
cannot send any mail through my Windows Mail. I do not have McAfee or Norton
but I do have Spysweeper for Vista and Trend Microvirus for Vista. Should
these be causing a problem when they are made for Vista?

Anyone else have any suggestions?

How many messages are in the Outbox?
If you go to Tools | Accounts, how many mail accounts are listed?

I assume that answer is to both questions.
Have you tried marking the message as read and then deleting it? That's
what I've been doing and so far it has always worked. Other things:

Try repairing the database with WMUtil from www.oehelp.com

There are two copies of WindowsMail.MSMessageStore, One in
%USERPROFILE%\AppData\Microsoft\Windows Mail
and one in
%USERPROFILE%\AppData\Microsoft\Windows Mail\Backup\New
If you delete both of these the database will be rebuilt. However, while no
messages should be lost, some may be downloaded again and you may lose some
record of which have been read. I recommend that you only do this when they
are causing you trouble, like when they are in the Outbox. Otherwise I now
just mark them as read and ignore them.

Disable email scanning with Trend Micro.

When I go to delete the "store" file it says it is being used by another
program and not able to delete. Now I have closed everything in computer.
Please help this is very frustrating.
