There are some sites I cannot get to display with IE
6.0. I think it has something to do with a HTTPS secure
protocol. I can connect fine to the secure microsoft.com
site and other banking sites. However travelersla.com
and tavelerslife.com do not work at all for me. The site
http://www.wellsfargo.com/mortgage/online/index.jhtml
works fine but if I click the sign on button to go to
https://wellsccn.fnfismd.com/wells/ccn/ccnsecurity.asp
or https://wellsccn.fnfismd.com/ccnweb10/CCN/CCNmenu.asp
I get "the page cannot be displayed" error message.
Sometimes I just get a blank white screen which
displays 'done' in the lower bar.
I've installed all the MS updates and am using Windows XP
with AOL 9.0. The symptom is sort of as described in
Knowledge Base article 318815 except I am using XP not
Win 2000.
When I start Mozilla I can view these sites fine on the
same computer and at the same time. Can any one tell me
what is unique about these sites so I tell them or
correct IE to work. I think it is either an IE problem
or a problem with their site. Thanks
