I don't know limewire or itunes specifics, but you should be able to cut and
paste all of your songs and 'other' files to any folder on the free drive.
THen you would have to go into each of those two programs and find some
option for 'linking' to new files or 'adding' media files or 'library
management' something or nother. It depends on the specific application, but
I'd be surprised if both limewire and itunes weren't able to reference files
on a separate hard drive. Of course, I'm sure it's all in the help files that
came with those programs, but if they are so poorly documented then probably
they have help or discussion boards on their own websites or at least there
are indepently run message boards dedicated specifically to those products
somewhere. google it.

I know that itunes can reference more than 1 drive at a time even. I have
the library search my c drive on my laptop at work and also my removable
hard drive. I also do the same thing at home. That way I can transport
back and forth through the same program. You should be able to do limewire
the same.

Just move the songs themselves, not the programs(why would you need to
do that?!?!).
Good idea to set up a computer:
C:\ (10GB for JUST the OS)
D:\ (The rest of the HDD for EVERYTHING ELSE like movies, pictures and
songs. And YES, you can just create a folder called Program Files and
install programs there :) ).
