Internet sharing

Hi, i have a dlink dsl-300 modem, an 8 port switch and 2
computers. comp1 can access the internet but comp2 cant.
I have a cat5 cable going from modem to switch, comp1 to
switch and comp2 to switch. I have 2 NIC cards in comp1,
if i plugged a cat5 from my modem to NIC 1 and then
another cat5 from NIC 2 to the switch and then keep the
cable going from comp2 to switch, would i be able to run
the internet on comp2 - assuming tcp/ip is set up
correctly?

Cheers,
Damian

Have a look at www.practicallynetworked.com or www.homenethelp.com for a
tutorial on setting up ICS for internet sharing, I'm assuming you don't get
multiple public IPs from your provider.

I'll second Jack's advice - skip ICS and go for a router to connect to your
DSL modem to share the Internet connection with the other two computers.
