XP Pro networking

my qustion is two parts. First, I have two computers
running XP pro, both are connected to D-Link router
sharing a cable internet connection with no problem, I
recently hade them sharing files and a printer without a
problem, then I upgraded my motherboard and cpu and did a
clean install of XP on comp1, now comp1 and comp2 still
have access to the internet and comp1 can access comp2
with no problems but when i try to access comp1 from
comp2 i get prompted for a password and dont know why.
2nd problem, on comp2 when i shutdown and restart i have
to diable the network connection and then re-enable to
get internet connection, please help.

1. Run the Network Setup Wizard on comp1 to fully enable file sharing.
