HTTP Error 404 - File or directory not found.

When I go to http://www.seaboardmarine.com and click on the Tariff
Information link I receive the following error.

HTTP Error 404 - File or directory not found.
Internet Information Services (IIS)

This is happening on half of the computer in our office. The other half are
able to access the link without any problems. I have reset all the default
Internet Explorer settings.

Is this something on my PC's or could it possibly be something on the
Seaboard Marine server side?

Hi Craig :)

You don't mention the version of Windows you are using (always important
information to provide when posting to newsgroups), but, you might try the
following as it applies to your OS and see if it helps:

Step. 1

Try this: Tools > Internet Options > Advanced > Browsing
Uncheck the Enable 3rd party browser extensions

If this resolves does not resolved the problem, continue with Step 2 below.
If it does, then you have some form of scumware from your system that is
likely causing the problem. See the information here to remove it:

Also check your 3rd party programs such as Google Toolbar, Yahoo Toolbar, or
Yahoo Companion. Check the security settings in the Firewall or AV, which
may be blocking it. Check the Hosts file to make sure it is not listed
there.

CC,
You need to allow pop-ups on that site. So some software is blocking pop-ups. If you are using just the pop up blocker in IE6, you need to either enable the information bar, so that you can temporarily allow pop ups. Or if you go to the site often you may want to allow pop-ups for the site.

In IE> TOOLS> Options> Privacy tab> Pop-up section> Settings button> check box for information bar. There you can add the web address to allow pop-ups.

If you are using toolbars from Google, Yahoo, etc... You will need to adjust the pop-up blocking settings for that application. If you are using security suites like Norton or McAfee, you will need to check the pop-ups blocking settings in those programs.
