getting shortcuts to open with Firefox and not IE

After using some ISP software (then uninstalling it including their
branded browser) some quick launch shortcuts are now launching with IE
rather than my default browser Firefox.
How can I put this back to normal please?
Firefox is the "default browser" but any url shortcut I create now
launches IE.

Hi Robert,

Use the Set Program Access and Defaults Feature to set Mozilla Firefox as
the default. See the following link for more info:

How to change your default programs and enable or remove access to Microsoft
Windows and non-Microsoft programs:
