Error during Domain Join

I have one Windows 2000 workstation that I am trying to
join to the rest of the domain, however I get the
following error message when trying:
The following error occurred validating the
name "tvanrensburg.otk.co.za".
This condition may be caused by a DNS lookup problem. For
information about troubleshooting common DNS lookup
problems, please see the following Microsoft Website:
http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?LinkId=5171

The specified domain either does not exist or could not
be contacted.

The strange thing is that this computer is the only
computer on the network that cannot be added to the
domain.

I have checked everything and made sure all the settings
are correct.

DHCP is enabled. DNS is completed correctly with the
Domain Suffix search order as otk.co.za.

Have anyone a solution to this problem please.

Thanks

Make sure the system can resolve the DC's host name correctly. Try a
LMHosts file with a Domain entry (see the docs).

Try to put the client into a workgroup, reboot and join it again.
Make sure the TCP/IP properties are set to obtain an IP and DNS
automatically. Also make sure that on the Advanced properties, DNS-tab the
boxes for register in DNS are checked.
