Cannot not see other comp in workgroup

I have 2 comps both running xp. Internet comes into modem out to hub and
through to the two comps...I have run the Home and Small office networking
wizzard, I can see my own comp in the workgroup comps, but i cannot see the
other one, and vice-versa. My comp has F-Secure with the firewall disabled
and the other with MaCafee with the firewall disabled. If you can help, id
appreciate it. Thanks!!

One of the most common causes of this problem would be a misconfigured or
overlooked personal firewall like F-Secure PF or McAfee PF, but there are other
possibilities too. Disabling FPF and / or MPF may not be the best choice; you
might either configure it properly, or un install it.

If no help yet, provide "browstat status" and "ipconfig /all" from each
computer, so we can diagnose the problem. Read this article, and linked

Only disable the XP fire wall and also provide me the kind of network cable
that u r using
