zip drive 100

Hello all
i am reformating a machine P3 700 intel motherboard 512 ram with windows
2k i put in a new 40gb HDD and the machine has a scsi card adaptec2940
(older one) i lso have a scsi cdrw and a zip 100 when i install the zip
drive as the secdary master or slave the machine hangs when booting and when
it finally boots its frozen has anyone had any experience with zip drives or
have see this problem?

problem solved i had to reinstall win2k with all ide devices already in
place
