Yet another CF EWF problem

Hey everybody,

Here is the issue.

I build the image with all required ewf componants configured for Ram Reg mode. I do not enter the registry keys for the arcname, etc. (the 3 keys that are in the microsoft documentation). The FBA finishes fine and reboots. I enter the reg keys and reboot. It boots fine. I copy the image to the CF and I get the 7B error.

I boot with Windows PE and remove the reg keys from the hive. Then the CF boots fine. If I eneter the keys I get the 7B again. This is all before I enable EWF. This is just simply trying to boot with the required reg entries.

I have a 1G CF. Can someone please post a step by step, from partitioning the CF all the way to enabling EWF on such a card. I have followed every tutorial I can find and get the same results.

The best partition sizes... the best program to use for partitioning... etc.

I just need to get an EWF run-time running on CF to regain some of my dignity.

I forgot to mention... I do remove the hard drive from the system after copying the image to the CF.

Entering the reg keys triggers the 7B on reboot.
