About Ewf Question

hi,

I have a XPe O.S with EWF RAM Mode, and back-up it by using ghost, and i
know that EWF don't work before recreate EWF partition if i use this image to
update.

Now i update this back-up image to a new CF card, then use this command
"ewfmgr c:", i just could get error message until i recreate EWF partition.

But one of my customer says that he update an image that i cloned and he use
this command "ewfmgr c:" and he get the message of "EWF is RAM(REG) Mode"
before recreate EWF partition.

Can this situation occur?
if it is.
Is this RAM(REG) Mode working actually?

Hayes,

We don't know what your customer did update on the image you provided him with. However, yes, it is possible to switch from EWF RAM
mode to EWF RAM Reg after cloning. More info and internals on EWF/Cloning you can find here:
