XPx64 Sound Issue

I'm running a Xp Pro x64 on a Compaq PRESARIO 3000, with a Athlon 64TM +3400,
and nForce 3 Chipset, with integrated AD1981b sound card, with which I have
issues.
I cannot install the otherwise working with XP x68 drivers (REALTEK) and the
sound does not work properly now. When I try to install the Realtek Driver I
get a blue screen with a stop error - 0x0000007e on portcls.sys and then am
forced to go with the last known good configuration.
Is there a fix, because there are others too with the same problem
