XPE on e: partition - how?

Hello,

I am installing a test XPE partition on my development machine which almost
succeeds. FBA starts, detects devices, reboots, starts, detects devices,
starts, ....

In the manual it says that it is something about the partitions not being
set up correctly.

This is my setup:

C: Boot disk (partition 1)
D: CDRom/DVD drive
E: XPE (partition 2)


C + E shares the same physical drive. I have tried various settings in TA
to setup this but have not succeeded.

Anyone who can see what I am missing?????

XPe probably see volume E: as D:.

But you can use following info to make XPe on partition 2 assigned volume
letter C:.

I've experienced the exact scenario you're describing,
and Slobodan's explanation was the cause for me. You
should also look here for further information:

When you set your target device settings in TD, try
specifying your partition as D:.
