XPE Hangs

I finally got XPE to boot successfully.

However, when i regain control of the computer, i always
get a hang. Specifically, when i choose my C: or D: drive
after double clicking my computer, the whole system hangs.

Furthermore, in the control panel, i face more problems.
Start menu and folder option buttons work just fine, but
when i click display it does not open and the comp.
hangs.

I have no idea what this may be as XPE boots just fine now
with no errors.

Any solutions?

Do you have the partiton in target designer set to a
specific size(by default it is 1024 mb) I have noticed
that if you have this set and you put the image on a
larger partition you will get the below type of behaviour
