XPE Fails to Boot with USB Touch Screen

Hi,

My XPE image works perfectly fine on a Geode GX2 Platform and also
recognizes and works fine when ELO USB Touch Screen is plugged in after it
has booted.

However if the USB touch screen is plugged in at power up, the boot process
hangs. After the BIOS screen I get a blank screen and nothing more will
happen. However at this point if I plug in another USB device like mouse or
keyboard the booting continues and it works fine.

So,
- XPE Powerup with USB Touch Screen -> Hangs even before Windows XP boot
screen
- XPE Powerup with USB Touch Screen + USB Mouse or USB KB -> Boots fine

The target platform is Geode GX2 with ELO Touch Screen. XPE resides on a
Compact Flash.

Any idea what could be happening?

Thanks.

I recently had a similar problem with interrupted boot using the
Logitech Sphere camera. Changing the PC type from ACPI Uniprocessor PC
to ACPI Multiprocessor PC cured it, though nobody seems to know why.
There was also the suggestion that it could have been a problem with the
motherboard drivers.
