xp2 problem /printer

After i install sp2 my computer will not recognize my canon multifunction f60
printer. i get a message which tells me to start the mpservice from the
control panel applet and then reconnect printer. i do this and it still will
not recognize my printer. everything else seems to work correctly. i have
removed sp2 until i can figure out how to make my printer work. any
suggestions?

You may have to reinstall it after SP2 or it may need updated drivers.
(check with Canon)

Did you try uninstalling / reinstalling the printer driver and checking
for an updated driver on teh canon web site?
